ABOUT RESQ CONCEPTS

ResQ Concepts was formed in 2004 by a group of paramedic rescue technicians/instructors, who having worked together for years decided to organize what we do for a living and teach it to the rescue technicians of tomorrow. Our goal is to pass on the knowledge that we have gained through many years of actual rescue work and countless of hours of training. We are constantly updating our material to keep you, the rescuer, at the top of your game with the most current standards, trends, and technology in the industry. Our programs meet or exceed the guidelines for testing to NFPA 1006 and ITRA.
ResQ Concepts Training courses are available from Awareness to Technician Levels. Our training programs include Command and Control, Vehicle Rescue, Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Tower Rescue, Trench Rescue, and Structural Collapse Rescue.
ResQ Concepts Instructors have very diverse career experiences and are on the forefront of teaching up to date technical rescue operations We believe that good rescue instructors must be actively involved in what they teach. The adage which says "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach" cannot be applied to a field where things are certainly not by the book. Rescue is something that requires a combination of knowledge and experience and therefore must be taught by someone who has actually experienced what they are teaching. Additionally, instructors must continually research and develop their skills, both through their own initiative and by exchanging information with other knowledgeable professionals. Active involvement is the first key in being a competent rescue instructor.
